We've done passive, it doesn't work. We've done keeping our shape and keeping it tight, in the end the other team scores.

What we haven't tried is taking the game to the opposition, getting in their faces. It may not work and against this Man Utd team, in the form they are in, it probably wouldn't work but by God it would feel positive, energising.

Watch Trezeguet toil like a lost child for 65 minutes before being replaced.....

I'm not sure what people were expecting, it's not as if we've got a glut of quality available.  Two up top was a disaster against Wolves.  Trez gets a run as he's persisting with Grealish in the middle, which is what everybody wanted.  Personally I'd have probably played Elmo right and Ghazi left, but frankly it's just shuffling an awful deck.

There's no way he would just chuck Guilbert straight in ater 4 months off and an injury.

We were reasonable against Liverpool and could easily have nicked a goal if our finishing wasn't so poor.  He's obviously hoping for a similar performance with more luck from set pieces.  Obviously we'll probably lose, but then given Utd's quality that's hardly a surprise.

Well with that line-up, I can only conclude Smith is worried about ManU not having the money for Grealish if they don't make the Champions league

It can only be that he saw that we held out for 70 mins against 'The Mighty Reds YNWA' and believes that this is the way to go again.
The problem as ever will be, that even if we hold on or even get in front, he won’t know what to fucking do

I might take the opportunity to creosote the fence.
I wish I had a fence to creosote. Do you think it would work on a privet hedge?

Do you need any help?

As Dean has said, we are really going for it tonight. With the same kind of line up that hasn't worked. Dean is an oxymoron.

Bournemouth just had the ball in the net but the ref bought the game back for a foul to them. Looked harsh to me.
