Played pretty well. Problem is Davis just doesn’t look like a striker, he never really gets in the right position.

McGinn shouldn’t be on the pitch. Poor bloke isn’t ready.

Is it just me or does he not quite look in the best shape?

When he attempted to track a runner earlier, he reminded me of Peter Reid in '86.

He's useless.  Even less goal threat than Heskey, and without the hold up play and helping the others around him.

Agreed, he looks lost.

Yeah thought the same. Looks like he’s annoyed by his own slowness. Can’t get to anything.

Or a late in career lumbering Gareth Barry

These balls up from the back seeking to bypass the midfield - how often do they work?

Leicester do it well. I can't recall a time when it ever worked for Villa. Why do we persist with it? Particularly with Davis looking less than useful up front.

This constant lobbing of the ball just isn't working. It just comes straight back at us.

I actually think drinkwater should be in for McGinn, which is a bizarre thing to think but there you go.

We are soooooooo slow and ponderous.  Good break, petered out to nothing.

Yep. Can't understand why Davis (?) didn't play the ball over the defense with Jack and El Ghazi making runs behind their markers.

He had the space to try it.

Feels like a game we'll lose 2 nil rather than 4 or 5 at least.
