Happened in Elmdon Park last summer I think.
Bluenose country.
I used to mow the grass in and around Elmdon Park during the summer.

Come on now Mister E, surely shome mistake. Elmdon Park and surrounds were the stomping grounds of the Elmdon Reds and its multiple members. However, as the Elmdon boundaries butted onto the Cov Road, Sheldon, I daresay that you would find the odd Bluenose scuttling about, certainly in our era, 50 years ago.

True, but all I seemed to see there were the Great Unwashed.

Yeah i have been following the U18 match and all credit to the youth team Were a goal down to Sandwell after just five miniutes but came back to lead 3-1 with Sandwell making it 3-2 on the stroke of half time .In the first minute of the second half we had our Keeper Marshelll sent off which meant  we had to take off Chukwuemeka  for a defender We then fell 4 3  behind but this team is special and we scored three in six minutes and held on comfortably  Of course Louie Barry had to score to rub it in Well done Villa Youth

Villa put a very strong team out, WBA missing four starters.
We fought back well and were harder to break down in the last 30mins with 10 men.
Best players -
Aaron Ramsay went off with a bad ankle injury after 25 mins or  so, and looked bad. By far the best player on the pitch. played 10.
Brad Youngs - Vardy type, rapid, nasty edge to him, good finisher
Chuck - really good player, very forward thinking
Appiah - the organise and leader. Played CB moved to RB  but was more a high RM.
Louie Barry was pretty quiet and up against an England U18 RB.

Deserved the win.
Bodymoor Heath is fantastic.

U23s are currently losing 3-0 away at middlesbrough after 41mins but it's a very young team with 2 trialists in the side.

I wonder if the U-18 team tomorrow is stronger with half an eye on the cup game coming up on Tuesday and a bunch of the U23 regulars are training with the seniors, if not this seems a very strange selection.

I think for one of the previous rounds we did the same thing and swapped the squads around before the youth cup in preparation?

Yeah I thought that as well but even still I don't recall us gutting the side to this degree. On the game it's 4-0 now.

Ashley Preece has tweeted that Chuk, JPB and Kessler were all with the seniors today so that played a part in the weakening of the U23s.

Cash will be suspended Sunday. It would be good to see Kessler get given a game but he'll probably be on the bench.

He went off injured on Tuesday and Ramsey has apparently broke his ankle in the same game.

Was Dom Revan on the list of players we're releasing? I might be imagining it but I thought we were keeping Seb and letting Dom go.
