In one of those couldn't make it up scenarios, I've just bumped into Gary Shaw in town.

On the commentary before hand they said there had only be 8 arrests

Fancy going all that way and missing the game

Did you inquire as to why Tony Morley was missing from the Half Time celebration V Palace?

What a day that was; the return fare from Birmingham New Street all the way to Rotterdam via train, ferry and coach, plus the match ticket, cost £29.

That was my journey as well having left on Tuesday evening and got home Thursday morning. These days I would be saying where am I going to sleep on those two nights, back then as a 17 year old, I couldn't care less and assume we just slept on ferry / coach etc

He was on his holidays, I think it was reported?

This Celebratory Dinner tonight? Where was it advertised? Not seen it mentioned other than on FB today.

Do you know if his girlfriend and her mum were there as well?

Our two boys went to primary school with Villa scarfs and flags today. I had some grit in my eye watching them walk to school...

Neither did I. His heart was in the right place and to his credit he was very helpful when some on the short-lived TBAR were causing us no end of problems.

I was robbed!  Mine cost £33 for the same package.

I remember a guy down from us who had been on the beer all day and slept through most of the game flat out in the walkway!!!! I suppose he can always say he was there though!
