It's interesting that games at The Glades were on. Hampton, next door, cancelled the kids games which were scheduled for Saturday morning.

Most of the local games lower down the pyramid were unaffected and I spent my Saturday afternoon.here. FC Shush v Inkberrow in the Midland Football League divsiion three (step eight – the lowest in the area) was my choice, not least because the home side are a headline writer’s dream

Yeah, right! I'd be interested to know what real ales they had on in the Club House, Dave 'never one to miss a trick' Woodhall?

Same here my Under 14's v Glades was also cancelled by league directive
Maybe they were expecting a larger crowd for our game ?

The sin bin is something, I have thought for sometime, that should be brought into football.

I think it would be terrible. Bookings are much more subjective than red cards, we would end up even more shafted by referees. Think how many times Grealish gets kicked per game before referees even think about reaching for their pockets, for instance. Plus you would have to have a US-sport style stopped clock or people would just time waste for all of the ten minutes. You get two or three bookings per side and football becomes unwatchable.

Thank you that interesting read.
I like hearing about this sin bin ?! Though I don't believe that's football and it was a men's adult game so I don't know how they can deviates from the rules of football
And also the names of teams have never heard about which always interesting .
What's a interesting idea about the league is that interim thing like they do in boxing.

What is leisure league ?
Is it actually 11 aside  and is it not affiliated to a league football .
I think it could be good idea to have sin bins however in the article it sounds like that was the 8th league of football and people cannot make up new rules in game of football if a serious league.
The other team can feel unjust when a player is only sin binned rather than sent off.

In the Central Warks Kids Leagues this weekend, lads games were cancelled by league directive, girls games could still be played. Worth pointing out that they are two separate leagues and the directive from the FA to leagues so far is 'play if you want to'.

There was an adult game there, which I assume was Leamington Hibs.

The sin bin currently in use at grass roots levels only applies to dissent, not fouls.
