Play rushback goalie, it can’t be any worse.

Even in some of his better games, Reina was prone to flapping at the ball a lot. He's also been shocking in the last couple of games.
Nyland looks a lot more composed and assured. There's no way Reina should be keeping his place. As poor as we were yesterday, that first goal switched Leicester up a gear and made their turnaround a lot easier. By the time Mings gives away a needless penalty (debatable as that touch was, what on earth kind of fucking body position was he going for?) we're dead. If Reina stayed in position, we kept it out, frustrated them a bit longer, who knows how the game might have gone. What you don't do is make it so bloody easy by sheer lunacy.

Nyland. Jed on the bench, even if he's still injured.

Nyland was playing well before Reina arrived apart from the City game which wasn't exactly his fault. I think Reina's been more of a liability than Nyland and Nyland is a better shot stopper - I reckon he'd have done better with both Bournemouth goals for example.

Reina should never wear the shirt again after his performances at Southampton and Leicester. He looked decent in a few games but he’s just another liability to add to the list. Nyland has improved significantly and has barely put a foot wrong when he’s been called upon.

Nyland. He's ours, give him the chance. Reina, another poor, slapdash panicky January signing that showed the recruitment team are all over the shop.

I am very surprised at Nyland and the dramatic improvements he has made. Fair play to him.
