We look a shambles at set pieces. Our marking would embarrass a pub side. Deserve to be behind and lucky it’s not more.

Leicester aren't just beating us, we're beating ourselves with a midfield so lightweight and an absolutely shambles of an organisation from set pieces. From corners, when will we learn that it's fucking helpful to try and mark the biggest ariel threat in the opposition team. Week after week after week we see the same stubborn, amateurish approach to defending. You'd think Dean Smith and John Terry had never played in defence.

There’s no need for a drains up investigation.

You sign and play a bloke in goal that’s played three times in 18 months who makes mistakes instead of someone who hasn’t put a foot wrong since an injury.

You buy Konsa instead of experience. You play three at the back when four is needed and vice versa.  You play zonal marking at set pieces when week after week it’s shown not to work resulting in us having the worst defence in the league.

You play your most influential midfield player isolated on the left and don’t do anything to change it despite the opposition nullifying him and thus any creative spark.

You don’t buy any experienced strikers in the summer and you’re left in January with an unproven, unknown striker who is forced to battle against two massive units on his own until you realise after 75 minutes and 2-0 down it isn’t working then if you’re lucky you get a partner up front.
On the money. Should have gone for Cahill instead of Konsa and Hause. Reina and Drinkwater brought in during January to hit the ground running.... was never gonna happen.
As Jack did last season to get us promoted, our hopes hinge on McGinn coming back in and hitting his start of the season form straight away, as I have ZERO faith in Smith and co to have a clue what to do to save us now.

Pre-game I thought Nyland should have started this game. Reina has just proven it.
Nakamba and Luiz struggle to play together. Luiz at best is an impact sub.
That said come on Villa in the 2nd half. UTV!

Dreadful, Smith should have gone in December. Too late now and fully expect Norwich to climb above us before the end of the season.

We are absolutely done for.

The entire coaching team want sacking.

Same mistakes week after week.

Amateur stuff - as someone said, we might as well have Davis on alongside Samatta and hack the ball up to them.
