We have our eye on Muzzy Izzet, according to the fella who sells me Shed 7 CDs.

Muzzy, is it?  I thought we were going for gold. Like, er, Andy Impey.

I've heard we're Chasing Iheanacho, all the time.

No mate. He's On Standby.
If we were to lose tomorrow it would be a right Rick Witter given the position we’re in.

Agreed. But if we can beat them again it will be getting better all the time.

Think if Vardy does not play they will feel deflated. And 1-2 villa victory. Dean Smith do not take off Samatta & replace him for Davis. Play both & push on …….

Jack definately fit? Last thing I heard a few days ago was we were hopeful he'd be fit, which in Villa injury terms usually means a few weeks out.

Hoping for a 1-1 draw, but the reality will probably be a 3-1 defeat.

Come on Villa boys! This is a difficult game to call as we've won, lost and drawn to these already this season. I would remember back to the Soton shambles and shake things up a bit, playing 4-1-4-1.
Nyland
Guilbert, Engels, Mings and Hause (left back)
Nakamba
Elmo, Conor, Jack and Trez
Samatta.
My active subs would be Luiz, Davis (not as a replacement for Samatta) and Anwar in that order, if required.
This team probs won't happen, but trying the same things, particularly in away matches, when they very rarely work, is not going to progress us much either.
Whatever formation or starting line-up Deano goes with, please don't have Drinkwater anywhere near the starting 11!

Well, there's a game on tonight. Here's hoping the spirit we saw at Wembley wasn't a once-off for cup final purposes.

Need everybody up for it tonight.

It's Villa, it's away, it's on TV. It's really hard to be optimistic. But a win would be huge, it'd see us jump, what, 3 places and still have a game in hand. Surprise me Villa, in a positive way please!

I think the matches in the league cup especially the first leg were Dean Smith undisputed masterpiece of the season thus far.
Another intangible mindset by the players and can have a positive result.

And on the second leg semi final I still think that is one of the most epic endings ever !

The Leicester fans plan to serenade Danny Drinkwater with the rendition of a song called Mrs Robinson ?!

Cramp wasn't it? Surely not even one of our players would take 8 days to recover from cramp??!!

I reckon a 1-1 draw but would love three points.

3-1. If we play like we did in the semi then we can get a result but that is exception to our form this season

Looks like Vardy will play some part in the game, which is a blow, but before this latest injury, he wasn't in great form. Hopefully Jack will be back to his best, going 1-1.

UP THE VILLA
