Fuck sake, do we have to play them again?  Sad that the Cup semi-final counted for nothing ultimately. Swapping those results for the league games could be the difference in us staying up or not.
the final was a good day out and gave the team some confidence which may count for a lot between now and the end of the season.

Reina

Targett
Mings
Engels
Guilbert

Luiz
Nakamba
Grealish

El Ghazi
Davis
Samatta

Gets my vote
Either goalkeeper will do for me and maybe Taylor not Targett who doesn't convince me.

I know he’s one of the best players in the world, but I don’t think the sight of De Bruyne running at Taylor in the 1-6 at VP will ever leave me....shudder. I think Taylor always tries hard but he’s not up to it at this level. Targett defo has his flaws, but offers us some attacking intent

We have our eye on Muzzy Izzet, according to the fella who sells me Shed 7 CDs.

Muzzy, is it?  I thought we were going for gold. Like, er, Andy Impey.

Wasn't that what Gregory resigned over, not being allowed to spend 12m on Muzzy Izzet? He joined SHA on a free transfer two years later and then retired from injury after a few games.

I've heard we're Chasing Iheanacho, all the time.

And mine.

Leicester are stuttering at the moment and we should take full advantage.

Other than goal difference, almost identical record as Leicester league wise in 2020. Them W2, D2, L4, us W2, D1, L4. Despite our fairly shite away record, this is not a foregone conclusion. They have some good players, but team selection and formation everything for Villa.

If we were to lose tomorrow it would be a right Rick Witter given the position we’re in.

3-1 Villa, this is the start of the fight back, we have to win this, running out of games fast, if we go about this in the same way we did against Man City we have a real chance.

Villa.

Is what many were saying about Southampton away. Hope it’s not the same outcome.
