The reverse fixture at villa park was the turning point for me.  Points tally pretty decent, chance to go clear against a side struggling, goal difference was really positive and mcguinn wasn’t injured. That was a horrible afternoon.

Was it a horrible one?

They just run away from us so easily. There's no zip or energy about us. We're so slow with and without the ball.

We have literally next to no ideas going forward and continue to look horrendous every time they go forward.

What was Smith saying about their home record? Fucking idiot.

How can anyone defend him. Useless defensively, can’t create crap at set pieces can’t motivate a team for 90 minutes.

Dismal, absolutely fucking dismal. I really don’t get what the thinking was behind keeping Smith, he’s fucking clueless.

I think Grealish has to move into the middle.  He's barely in this game at the moment and he really is our only hope of surviving this season.  Lose today and I think Smith will be gone.  Just a feeling

It's NOT going to happen.  Even if we get relegated. I doubt we can even afford to sack him.

Sadly I don't. As much as I think this is a step too far for him, I don't think the board are even contemplating getting rid.

Smith is a fish out of water I'm sorry to say.

I think this has been obvious for some time now.

Our back three seems to consist of Mings on his own.
What's happened to the plan to keep a clean sheet and get the crowd on their backs?

Easily really. But that's a discussion for another thread.
