Yeah great effort, but that could be the last time we see him at Wimbledon, well at least in the singles, he might have a go in the doubles with his brother.

Don't we have a Tennis Wankers thread for those that only show interest around Wimbledon or would that dismiss a nation?

There are other tournaments? When did this come in?

Are you telling me tennis players aren't just people with normal jobs for 50 weeks a year?

Presumably the players that make the latter stages can afford to feed themselves the rest of the year, but if you lose in Round One it's straight back down the racquet mines the following Monday.

Harriet Dart first Brit through
No she isn't. She was a round behind the others.

Seemed impossible to break Isner's serve, he was always fighting an uphill battle.

Katie Boulter just won

She sounds like a Sky News presenter.

No, that's Gaelic footballers and hurlers.

That's what she does for the other 50 weeks of the year.

Raducanu out.

At this rate she'll soon be back to being Romanian.

I didn't see it, but just caught the post-match interview.  Dedicated to her Nan who passed away two days ago.  Tremendous stuff.

A nervy end to Watson's match, but into the 4th round for the first time.
