Missed the first 10 minutes but from what I have seen, it has been quite an even game.  Can't believe they are winning 2-0.

And there we have it. The first sub is a defender. Cracking stuff.

Brighton get a goal back.

2-2 there would be probably the success of today if we can't do anything. Watford staying 2-2 would help aswell.

What was that supposed to achieve from Hause, FFS?

Whacks it three quarters the length of the pitch, straight into the stand.

Engels on for Konsa

For Konsa? Ffs.

I'd say he's been just as bad as Hause today. Let Bournemouth drift past him and get a cross in unopposed.

we need a quick goal after half time or we're done for here. samatta done fuck all so far except one clever little turn when he was offside. jack once again the only player who looks capable of making anything happen against a side poorer (or at least, no better) than ours. not fucking good enough villa.
Regarding Samatta please read my post above. What do people expect from our strikers? They don't stand a bloody chance when we're playing like that.

Except that Grealish has whipped at least 3 killer balls into the box across the face of their goal and Samatta, our lone striker, was nowhere near connecting with any of them

As for what I expect of our strikers, I think I expect that they actually manage to get on the end of the ball when it's put in the mixer. That's not a huge amount to ask, I don't think.
Whipped into the box fair enough but if you want your strikers to score you have to be actively trying to target him. If the cross is nowhere near him which they havn't been up until now what do you want him to do? Maybe when he's more in tune with how we play he can start to read the game and anticipate but iit's his second game.

Amazingly it's Bournemouth that start well on top, and they clip the bar
