This is absolutely textbook, typical Aston Villa.

This is why we're in the shit. Can raise our game for the 'big' occasions, but consistently don't turn up against the teams we SHOULD be focussing on.

Hopefully, it's a blip and we come out second half and fuck these fuckers.

We've been doing it a decent amount in last month.

This season is really brutal. Just when you think a team is down and out they spring back into life and starting winning games pushing the survival points total up.

We've taken 10 points since xmas day and yet spent most of the first half in 19th place.

we need a quick goal after half time or we're done for here. samatta done fuck all so far except one clever little turn when he was offside. jack once again the only player who looks capable of making anything happen against a side poorer (or at least, no better) than ours. not fucking good enough villa.
Regarding Samatta please read my post above. What do people expect from our strikers? They don't stand a bloody chance when we're playing like that.

How the fuck to Billing and Lerma stay on the pitch each week. Dirtiest pair in the league.

Konsa is clearly shoved over in the build up to the second goal. Awful officiating. From there though, how the fuck are we not playing Ake offside from the second shot. Awful defending.

We look like we had a big win in the week and have not done what we needed to get ready for this. Bournemouth are battling and we aren't. No composure, and the ball isn't sticking up top at all.

Rubbish. We are going down this season I'm sure of it. Too many games we end up second best in key moments.

Yet again we offer a helping hand to a relegation rival in poor form, while results elsewhere go against us. There’s simply no explanation for it.

Except that Grealish has whipped at least 3 killer balls into the box across the face of their goal and Samatta, our lone striker, was nowhere near connecting with any of them

As for what I expect of our strikers, I think I expect that they actually manage to get on the end of the ball when it's put in the mixer. That's not a huge amount to ask, I don't think.

Appalling.  Of all the games not to show up for.  Anyway, nice long break to enjoy being in the bottom three, then just Spurs, Southampton, Man City and Leicester to come.

Good job we had a really impressive transfer window.

Not sure what I'd do at half time. Easy to just put on Davis and Trez on but holding it up won't change much, Bournemouth have killed us with two quick breaks and stupid lunges in on them which have resulted in free kicks.

It's sometimes we used to be good at, probably shows the lack of real pace we have in this team nowadays.

When some of us still have massive doubts over Dean Smith this is precisely why.

The fact that Bournemouth are 2 to the good offer's them some merit in this game other than to say its pure luck, yet Bournemouth look hopeless, fact is Villa except for a few spells look terrible, we need to come out and put this right, we can't lose this game looking at other scores at this time.

Having seen that 45 maybe the reason we didn’t sign anyone of note is because we are actually shit?
