Only one man in our team has any composure.
The rest treat the ball like it’s got fucking corona virus and can’t wait to get rid of it.

As others have said the perfect example of how to throw away all the posiitivity and good vibes in on fucking shitty 45 minutes.

Shit start, then the better side, then shit defending from 2 freekicks.

An early goal and their arses will go, we need a flying start to the half. We must be due one.

One or two bright attacking moments but that's about it.  We've been so brainless at the back.  Hangover from the semi maybe, we just don't look like we're at the races.  Still, where there's Jack there's hope.

We have not resolved our central midfield problem and they are running through us at will.
It’s all about hoping that Jack can do something because that is the one tactic we have.

I
This is terrible.
They are working harder than us.

Can't see that, they're bad, we're worse and that's it.

I think we've actually looked the better team aside from comedy defending.  They look like some of the team we played in the championship; physical, limited, a bit nondescript.  They certainly don't deserve to be 2 up.

Garbage, Villa.

Smith and his inept tactics again.

Trezeguet and Nyland had to start after the Leicester game.

And I wish we'd play with two strikers. Especially those new to the league. Davis would be great to support Samatta. We already left Wesley isolated for pretty much every game, and I hope they don't do the same with the new goal. Though he looks to be a bit more mobile than Wes.

El Ghazi, despite a few nice touches and one excellent through ball just doesn't do enough.

Grealish the only one to come out with any credit from that half. Targett hasn't played badly, either.

Back three have been too casual. Nakamba reverting to his normal invisible self, Luiz needs to wake up. Reina with a cock up.

Not happy with that. Big second half needed.

Mings gave away a stupid & unprofessional free kick for the first. Got booked. Had easy chance to clear the ball for the second. Didn't. Fucking schoolboy stuff from Tyrone. Massively disappointed by the first half. The lack of opportunities for our new striker must now make people understand how tough it's been for big Wes.

we need a quick goal after half time or we're done for here. samatta done fuck all so far except one clever little turn when he was offside. jack once again the only player who looks capable of making anything happen against a side poorer (or at least, no better) than ours. not fucking good enough villa.

All about the intensity. They came out absolutely firing into us.

We're strolling. Surely we don't think we're something we're not, because we definitely aren't good enough to turn up and do that.

This has been appalling.

Smith needs to change it now, get House off and an extra attacking player on.Trez or Connor.
Desperate our season could hang on this.

This is why we're in the shit. Can raise our game for the 'big' occasions, but consistently don't turn up against the teams we SHOULD be focussing on.
Can we though?  I thought our record against the top 6 this season has been crap.  I can think of the away point at Man Utd and that's about it.
