Thing is some players thrive on the atmosphere I think gives them added edge.
Others don't.
First and foremost they are footballers so those without the ego and needing the adulation of crowd can cope better perhaps.
As well as those who fear the negative vibes and crowd on their backs home or away.
But of course any positive encouragement from a home /away support is just that and a good singing support would often improve most footballers confidence levels in a match.
The 12th Man of the holte seen to that !
So its not just the performers who need that .
It's what most of the squad are use to and expect.
So yeah the young ones can transition to prem football as if it's those academy games
Fascinating to see how some of these perform.
Up the villa !

Ramsey must be in with a chance, along with Vassilev. Not sure about Barry ... does he take penalties?

In such dire circumstances my vote is for young Louie to be given a run out. What have we got to lose?

Fair enough. I'm half cut, clutching at straws here. On a more serious note, I've heard great things about him and I hope he's involved in the near future.

Rooney was 16 when he made his first team debut, and he hadn't been signed by 2 European giants by that age.....  ;)
