I really don’t know why I follow the match thread it’s so fucking depressing. If you lot were at the game would you be so critical and negative? Sure we are up against it but I thought our job was to ‘support’ isn’t it? I may be a dreamer and a misguided optimist, but for God’s sake get behind the club. Come on Villa you can do this!

If we were at the game supporting them may make a difference, how the smeg does it make any difference what we say on a forum?

El- ghazi and Trez are both doing that schoolboy thing of running in behind hoping their player misses the ball which they inevitably don't.

Presumably training with our defenders has taught them this is a decent tactic.

It’s because we’re all sick-to-death of watching our team performing like Blues. It’s about time we had something better. End of.

Massive 2nd half. But this is what happens when you’ve no natural strikers on the field, attacks breakdown.

What exactly does Trezeguet do again?

I admire your optimism but this is the place where we come to vent our spleen. It's how it works. Fucking come on Villa.

Getting behind the team online is pretty nonsensical. Like getting behind Brexit.

At the game, very different.

If we don't turn this round then DS making no changes will reflect very badly on him imo.

Yep I would support but not blindly. Getting behind the club isn’t going to turn the sows ear into a silk purse.

I love this blind optimism stuff.  All I need now is for some twat Teacher to come on here and tell me that I have mis-read someones post. Match thread is depressing because we are so very poor.  Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

I don't think anything appears to reflect badly on him. He's somehow bulletproof

No wonder we play shit so often if the players are following the match thread on the pitch.

Yep rinse and repeat. One new striker isn’t turning this level of malaise round.
