There is no way he is going to sign him on loan and then not play him. The only way he will improve and get match fit is by playing him

Well, he might get fitter, but there's no automatic improvement guaranteed just from playing games.  It doesn't seem to have helped Trezeguet very much, put it that way.

Agree, Douglas must be pissed off. Drinkwater is way short of match fitness. Pathetic that we're at the 21st January and no striker eligible.
