DS has got some balls, I give him that!

I must say Dean, I’ve got to admire your balls.

We'll batter the fox hunting crisp eating clapper clapping twunts.

They've got free flags and some disco lights tonight.

Flag wankers.

Just keep them to 2 or less Villa.

This half.

Shocked that Cam has not been given a chance as there is no Kodjia.

I think it's just Vassilev has hit form at the right time.  4 in 3 for the U23s.

Cam is a natural striker and offers far more, for me.

Kodjia has been less than he was due to serious injury.  Before going to the ACN he was a very good player with a bad injury.  He was told not to play in the ACN but he did and effectively ruined a very promising career.

Glad Kodjia has been bombed out.  He's a waste of a squad number anyway, who cares if he's leaving before we sign a replacement.  He's a lazy fucker and will never get a sniff of playing in the top flight again at his age, so you'd think he'd have at least put some effort in at some point.

Oh and he scored a couple against Liverpool's U23s, big deal.

But do you think he’s any good?

He's a decent enough player at Championship level, just not the player he was for us 3 years ago.

Agreed. Easy to forget that he was simply outstanding at times for us when healthy and in top form. He clearly hasn't got it back. Not saying his attitude couldn't be better, but you have to wonder as an athlete what that does to you when one day you are scoring freely and running past defenders with ease, and the next you can't do any of those things.

This will be an interesting game, don't know what Leicester's centre half's will do with no possible striker to mark.

Doesn't make him a lazy fucker though, does it? Surely the opposite, if he wanted to play when he was advised not to.

For the record, just to show how easily a story can be spun one way or the other, another example of a player who played through injury to help his team and potentially ruined his career was James Chester - but we applaud him for it, since he did it for the Villa.

Sorry but I don't have it in me to beat Kodjia up because he wanted to play football, when other people want to call him lazy for not wanting it enough.

From the Graun: "Dean Smith has a chat. It sounds like a bus-parking exercise is in store:

We haven’t got any centre-forwards at the moment. Kod came off the training field ill yesterday. We’ve got our forward-thinking players on the pitch and hopefully they can be as good as Manchester City were last night. We’ve got no choice [but to play a false nine], as I say we haven’t got any centre-forwards. That’s where we are in the forward ranks at the moment. It’s a balance of wanting to try and win the game and also to be cautious. We’re aware it’s a two-legged affair and we want to go back to Villa Park with our own fans behind us."
