BT sport reporting that Tom Heaton has damaged his Anterior knee liagament. If true, that's his season finished.

Fks sake. We have had terrible luck with injuries this season.

Nyland actually played very well at Wolves and took a fantastic claim from a corner in the dying minutes today to ease the pressure. He's done more in his 2 Premier League sub appearances than anything in his run of games as no.1 last season where he looked a complete liability.

So maybe he can cover well enough if his confidence is high as Heaton will be a big loss in the run in.

Would there be any chance of someone posting them on here please?  I've seen a more exploded view from another angle of the challenge on Wesley, as far as I'm concerned the defender should have gone.

Unless we shift Kalinic there's no chance we're bringing in a keeper imo.

He's still Croatia's number 2 keeper, so either that says something about their pool of keepers, or it indicates that he ought to be as capable as an emergency loanee backup would be.

A lot been said on here (a little bit unfairly imo) about Wes being the worst striker ever seen at villa. However, in his brief spell in goal last season I thought he was probs the worst keeper I’ve seen down there. Really tall but can’t jump, too tall to get down quickly, struggled with his kicking. There’s a Croatian bloke at work who also says he can’t believe he still gets in there squad.

Be gutted if heatons done for season, as he is quality. Might need to get a loan in in case Nyland wobbles, though he’s looked far more assured in his appearances this season.

Thankfully only watched the first half. That first half performance for me was back up to the standard we set at Old Trafford in terms of intensity and concentration, though still looked a bit wobbly at the back. When did not playing the ball across your own box stop being a thing? My heart’s in my mouth every time they do it. Incredibly risky if your main aim is not losing the game!

Three cracking finishes from Jack and Wesley. The response from those two especially after the Watford stinker was really good to see. Whatever Dean and the coaching staff said after that match seemed to do the trick.
