After that nerve jangler, there's only one thing to do now.

We have shown that we can battle.  Really important in a scrap and we need to not allow it to drop now.  Two injuries to cope with, plus SJM's.  Might need several players and to keep hold of Kalinic for the rest of the season. Well done Dean and the players.  Great win.

Tough to judge on the 29 minutes Kodjia was on the pitch for, but maybe we see why Wesley has played every game so far.

Great first half, gritty second, nerve-wracking towards the end.

Purslow on the pitch at the end telling Dean 'fantastic'. Clearly Dean aint going anywhere.

Yep very very noticeable. Invested in Dean, emotional, feeling vindicated.

Six points from the 12 probably 3 less than we needed but that win is massive.  Could be a season changer.

Looking forward to Flinstone coming on and giving Dean some credit for changing the system and winning away against a tough side.

Marred by the two injuries though. Eleven days to get a striker in before Man City now. Heaton looked bad. I reckon he'll be out for the season.

Well done Dean.  Credit where it’s due.

Indeed. Great start to the new year.

Get in brilliant win. Hopefully the cost on Wes and Heaton won’t be too great.

Well done Dean.

My fucking nerves! Great first half, not so much second half. Batter Man City next and things will look so much better. Hope Wesley isn’t badly hurt.

Very good win, we can build on that first 45, well deserved 3 points overall but a costly one, have we lost Heaton and Wes, we need to get into the transfer market quickly.

Interesting to see Purslow on the field congratulating the staff.

Finally changed formation and we saw MUCH better performances All over. Defence tighter, best performance by Douglas Luiz in a villa shirt (far too good to be tagged as just a defensive midfielder as he offers more going forward), Wes played well (and better than his replacement who we’ve all been crying out for!) and the shackles finally taken off Jack.

Need to keep the performances up now and push on. Injuries marred a very good result.

Well done Dean and team. UTV

Brilliant win lads. Massive result for the team and for Deano and let’s hope the injuries aren’t as bad as they look.
