Warnock putting the blame of the disallowed goal on Wesley for not getting out quick enough.
Wanker.
commentator here said (about 10 mins later) it was disallowed because the Burnley players didn’t have enough time to regroup?

Just goes to show what Wes can do when you have someone playing closer to him. He’s looking the part today.

So 3-6-1
Is Jack in the middle?
No Jack is on the left (but Taylor is higher up the pitch which helps)

Looking at the highlights, he seems to have been given a free role which is where he is best. It stops him being man marked out of the game or being stuck in areas of little danger to the opposition.

Just exactly how bad does Wesley have to play then before he's out the team?

My god just tell him he needs a rest or something if need be as it appears dropping him has been written in his contract as not allowed!
give it a rest.Wesley will score goals when he gets some service. NO SERVICE = NO GOALS
OK NO NEED TO SHOUT
yes there is because none of the Wesley haters listen to reason. With his performance today it proves me right

Early days mate, 4 or so good performances out of 20 I make it so far.

Wanker.

I don't care about the technicality of the decision, there's something really not right when it boils down to stride pattern.
Agreed. Talk about him totally missing the point of the discussion.

Can you switch the commentary off on BT sport? Jesus I cannot listen to this female commentator for 90 mins!
I thought that but she's actually really quite good.

What's her gender got to do with anything?

Her! Did you just assume the commentator's gender 😂

Seminal 45 minutes coming up. No cock ups, please, Villa. Keep on the front foot and don't go into blind panic mode if Burnley have a good spell.

Might be the only one who doesn't actually have a problem with VAR. At an atomic level Wesley was offside, it's just at an atomic level we don't know when the ball left the head and within a few frames Wesley could of been onside.

We need to see this through. We have the dreaded 46-50 minute period coming up. They are going to come at us and we have to stay tight and organized.

Huge, this is now.

Perhaps he just mentioned her gender to differentiate between them?

Possibly our best half of the season. Keep it up, boys.

We have been brilliant. That VAR crock of shite could have been an excuse to lose concentration but we stuck to the game plan. It goes without saying but Grealish has been on a different level. Possibly best I've ever seen him play.
