As much as we want/need to see changes, it makes you wonder if such a radical set of changes in a critical game is a sign of desperation from the manager.

Course I hope we win but I don’t like this formation at all, if they play with one up top we’ll have 5 players round him, very easily outnumbered elsewhere.

Just exactly how bad does Wesley have to play then before he's out the team?

My god just tell him he needs a rest or something if need be as it appears dropping him has been written in his contract as not allowed!
give it a rest.Wesley will score goals when he gets some service. NO SERVICE = NO GOALS

I wonder if he's moved Konsa to the centre of the park, although seems unlikely with both Nakamba and Luiz in there too?  We will see.

                    Heaton
Guilbert   Hause    Mings     Taylor
      Nakamba   Konsa   Luiz
Trezeguet    Wesley    Grealish

This feels like a last roll of the dice from Dean Smith. Picking Wesley in this formation (or at all) and even worse, having to play Neil Taylor, looks like a recipe for disaster.

A comfortable afternoon for Burnley I'm afraid.

Looks awful

Grealish out wide again, nakamba and Luiz in the centre, really? What planet is DS and the coaching team on
Can you at least wait until we see how they lineup before you start giving out shit please?

When your own teamsheet spells your name wrong, you probably know time’s up. Poor Kodjia!

I like the look of this. It should make us more defensively sound.

I guess we won't have had much time to get used to it in training but the intent and willingness to try something different is refreshing.

There's a marquee. Burnley is very fancy now it's gone blue.

Smith can't win can he? Fans call for a change of formation and as soon as he does it's questioned as desperation.
