'Playing' being the operative word.

These players are playing to get the manager fired. It’s very, very clear.

And they're shite.

When Watford were bottom their players were shit. When Southampton were getting battered 9-0 their players were shite. Yet in both cases both teams have found ways to fight and win mainly down to managerial or tactical changes. We have none of that with the manager who has committed to one way of playing that clearly does not work. He is the problem, more than the players.

Heard this before when we were relegated last time. The manager is shit and the players are shit. That's why teams go down.

It doesn't get much worse than this.

I don't think we are doomed yet. I said we'd get tonked today - Watford were the worst team to face today.

Deeney is up there with Savage. Cnut.

1-0, maybe they would have given Smith an ultimatum. 3-0 to ten men, we're bringing Benitez back to the Prem.

Oh how we scoffed when people were saying that we'd "do a Fulham".

Cracking stuff mate. Well done.

Sitting  at home, so my opinion is very heresay, but the selection is just not good enough.  Missing Mings and McGinn and we have the feel and look like a championship side

What an absolute disgrace some of those players are today.

Not fucking fit to wear the shirt.

This is the moment, it has to be.

Look at Watford with Pearson (!!) , for Christ's sake, Everton with Ancelloti.

Make a change now and we have a chance. Keep him and we have had it.

I would not mind betting that every one of those Villa players will be out on the piss tonight.

The players are not good enough, but what really worries me is the complete lack of spirit and effort.

Yes I mean Chris Wilder has made Enda Stevens capable at Premier League level.

Trolling our own fans is not really needed right now.

I'm not trolling our fans.  In those optimistic days of summer I was repeatedly pissed off with the supporters of other teams who trotted out that line every time we made a signing.

This. I've no time for most of them.

If we do get rid of Smith, it'll be interesting to see how they play/fight/behave.

This is feeling distinctly like 2015/16 all over. At least we're past Christmas, and can't have a bad santa video.

We might be missing 2 of our starting 11, but there is no excuse for lack of effort. That is unforgiveable.
