I want see us press Watford.  For the life of me I don't understand why the team is being told to stand off teams (especially at home like we did boxing day).  We aren't good enough at the back to use a 'soak up pressure' approach.

Pearson will have his team taking turns to kick Grealish today.

A win will give us a huge boost, first goal, as always will be critical. We just need to be strong, no game for the likes of Engels, Jota etc....

Somehow Smith has got to put a team out that is prepared to battle and compete.

Lose today and we are in deep shit.
Must not lose.

Going 1-1, much not lose match, with Deeney missing a pen!

I think we get beat easily - our team just isn’t cut out for Vicarage Rd away on a cold Dec day.

3-0 and more panic

Cold December day? It's beautiful, clear blue skies outside with the sun shining on down. Perfect conditions for football.

This for me is why we should always play Guilbert and Target when fit

yes they go forward more and take a few more risks but we need to be on the front foot
Elmo and Taylor going forward stopping and passing the ball back slowing the whole thing down just invites pressure on us
we won’t win games by sitting back

he who dares and all that

Wonder what condition those that played on Thursday will be in?

Imagine most teams will make a few changes today given the close proximity of games. I’m not sure we have the capacity to do that though.

I think I read Mings will only be available next week.

Don't think Mings is available. Latest suggestion from Smith was he'd be back for the Burnley match.

Team / formation I'd like to try if not today;

                           Heaton

        Guilbert     Konsa    Mings     Hause    Targett

                        Nakamba    Luiz  Hourihane

                              Grealish

                               Kodjia

Zero chance of it happening though, ever.

Its 8° and grey overcast sky in Watford, so you're both wrong.
