A bigger version of Newcastle. Absolute crybabies, still angry about us taking the piss out of Gerrard's birthday.

They've definitely got a bit of a chip on their shoulder about us. The Gerrard birthday thing didn't even spring to mind, to be honest, but it all makes sense, now.

When marking an essay yesterday at university, titled 'My Biggest Influence', I at first gave the student an F for writing about Jurgen Klopp.

I then had to grin and bear it, and mark without bias. I can now see where said student was coming from. He's a twat, coincidentally. Have an E for your troubles, Yosuke.

I might be extra petty and put a smiley face at the bottom with 5-0 in brackets.

Have to be careful in Japan, however. I could well be pulled up for 'power harassment'. :)

Sat in the North Stand for this which made a pleasant change. A good win, it was fairly easy enough in the end and good to see Big Wes grab himself a goal although I think i'd start with Kodjia on Saturday.

How did Chester and Konsa play?
Chester was excellent.
Regardless of the level of opposition, he read the game impeccably, and was calm and assured with the ball.
I don’t recall him hoofing it once.
I’d have him back in team on Saturday without question, if he is up for it.

In 2015 Gerrard was retiring and the cup final was on his birthday. Cue media narrative. We beat them in the semi and some sang happy birthday to Gerrard in the final in lighthearted “bantz”. Clearly the chippy scousers are happy to give it but not take it.

We did a great service to Carabao Cup in particular and football in general tonight. Liverpool disrespected this competition and were rightly trounced. Forget this rubbish about kids, they fielded a team, we sorted it so fuck em I say.
What the fuck were they supposed to do?

They could have given it a better mix. Didn’t need to have their 23 senior players in Qatar today. 6 or 7 could have played and flown out post match.

Exactly, they’d be there by now. Are they that worried about Monterrey?

Not field a team of kids. Why take every first team squad member to the desert? They are European champions. They could of fielded a team with players like Milner,Origi etc blended with U23's and let some of the youngsters travel with the first team. They were making a point. They disrespected the competition and got duly spanked. They got what they deserved so fuck em. As for those saying "they made more passes" " Nyland kept us in it" etc etc. Give your heads a wobble and get behind the team your meant to support will you. UTFV.

Blimey if you read their after match debate on RAWK they can't stand us and are desperately hoping to thrash us in the league game at Anfield as well as send us down.

Line of the night on there basically saying we ruined the night for them when we scored the fifth, because we didn’t need to. This lot set new highs in being conceited, the poor things.

What a horrible site it is. The 'travellling Kop'. Vomit inducing.

Sound like a bunch of self entitled cry babies. Fuck em.

.....& Kodjia, who hasn’t been able to get a game for months despite us having a non scoring centre forward on the pitch, isn’t supposed to celebrate scoring.

Yes, they fielded "kids" and you can only play what is in front of you. And a lot of the kids have talent.

Nice of Dean and John to go to them after the game, to say well done etc ( and here's a lolipop and a sticker that says "I've played at Villa Park"  ;D )

Seriously, they could have scored. But it allowed a run out for some of our guys and JK needs to start on Saturday.

Tough tit you scallies! And the European Champions can beat us ten-nil in the League and it's not going to make us cry, is it?

I was impressed with Nyland. Some good accurate distribution and very good saves. Everyone else seemed to be in 2nd gear but still had enough to win it. Our lowest crowd of the season but our biggest ever to watch our reserves?
