Starting to think that January window and all the money in the world won’t make any difference with Smith in charge.
On paper, we’re going into a spell of ‘easier’ games, but with our soft belly, these are exactly the kind of teams we will get turned over by.
We’ll be rooted in bottom 3 by New Year.

Only Bournemouth of the 'easier' sides have beaten us this season.

Newcastle haven't looked back since we beat them.

Amazing that we pulled a point back of them after that night and now they are 7 ahead and very comfortable. They’ve beaten average teams and top teams. Fist Face has done a very good job there with what he has and that includes a Brazilian CF who isn’t scoring goals.

McGinn has lost it completely. He offers the square root of zilch.

I'd have Conor in the team instead of him next time.

Leicester are a really good side, no doubt about it. Maybe not good enough to win the league, but they are solid top 4 material.  Losing to them is no disgrace, but this performance jus isn't good enough.  If we're going to lose, I want to see us losing while having a go.

Absolutely massive five-game run coming up now against the teams around us...

Can everyone take stock before conceding relegation in early December. We've been soundly beaten by one of the best sides in the country if not Europe at the moment.

Had a really bad run of fixtures, and if anyone thinks we WEREN'T going to be in a relegation battle after coming up through the playoffs, you're having yourself on. We've looked good in all but one of the games against teams we are ACTUALLY competing with this season.

That doesn't mean there haven't been poor mistakes from players and management today - but can we get a bit realistic

2nd most losses in the league, no accountability for the lone striker, poor substitutions, most points conceded from winning positions, getting absolutely throttled at home on the eve of a club legend passing away, unable to EVER enact a plan B, unable to get the best out of players anymore..

How realistic do you want us to be?

Smith needs to sit down with his coaching staff and try and work out what to do with the squad he's got.

Clearly the current formation and selections aren't working.

We've got no real threat in their box - crosses are either useless, or nobody gets on the end of them.

Our midfield has become porous.

We've had more poor games recently than good ones - Wolves, Chelsea and today v Leicester. - are we getting worse?

He  needs to review his tactics and team shape and come up with something new -   the current one doesn't seem to be working.

That last the best team we have played in a long while. They were very very good and have been superb this season. Completely bossed us .
