Man U’s midfield is nothing special. I’m glad we didn’t go with a defend or contain approach. Hourihane didn’t deserve to be dropped and he provides a number of offensive threats. I’m glad it appears we will go at them. This isn’t the Man U of Ferguson. It’s the limp dicked version of OGS. We have to go at them. We can win this.

Won’t be watching but will pay attention through the site. UP THE VILLA

I'm switching my phone off now I've seen the team. May Deano use his subs wisely in order to see out the game and bring home the three points!

I did that 10 years ago when we beat them at Old Trafford. I was living in Seoul at the time, and couldn't face a bar full of fans screaming for Man U.

Woke up in the morning, turned my phone on and the first message that came through was from my best mate saying 'I bet you're happy'. He's a Man U fan, but apart from that, I love him.

Let's hope for a similar outcome this afternoon.

1 win in our last 41 league games against them. It will be 2 in 42 at full time.

This is one where I don't want to know the score until the game has finished, though as I intend to watch Leicester v Everton I guess there will be no avoiding the score updates on the screen.

It's dross apart from the front players, even De Gea has been average for a while.

Not a crap side, but this is the weakest United squad we'll face for years to come. Surprised Pereira kept his spot because he has been dreadful, though they dont have many other options at this point. I think Luiz can contain Mata and Fred is well.. Fred. Just need to keep Martial and Rashford quiet and ram it down Brandon Williams' throat. Wesley needs to find a way to make Lindelof uneasy.

Think we could get something out of this.

Come on Villa! Improve our lousy record against this lot! At least Ole is on the bench these days instead of scoring late goals against us...
