Umbro retro shirts

Anyone manage to get one of the 1990 Umbro shirts? I think the club shop had some but they're not on the website.

On the retro shirt theme, what happened to the 1983 white/yellow/claret le coq sportif striped away shirts?

I've been searching high and low on the interweb for this but can't find it anywhere.

Hard to pop to the store when you're 10,000 miles away.  :(

Bought one from the club shop a few weeks ago.. £35, strangely not available on line. Great shirt.. hopefully they will do replicas of that seasons away shirt too.. one of my favourite ever Villa shirts.

I imagine they'll pop up soon. I think the 80s shirts were only in stock at the club shop to start off with and then they went online.

These are better than the current shirts imo. I'm so glad the club have such a good selection of retro shirts.

Not sure how helpful this is, but they had them in JD Sports at BHX yesterday.

I have an original away shirt from 1990 that I'm considering selling.

I reckon it will be released again soon so if you're gonna sell it I'd do it now.

Lovely shirts.

Wow wow wow. Been waiting for that one to come out. As some one said way superior to our current kits and that includes the Luke effort too.

My favourite away shirt. The team wore it for 3 years, even voting to ditch a yellow 'Brazil' kit in 92-93. Correct me if I'm wrong but that was only worn at Forest and as a one off at Anfield in the previous season.

I’m sorry but it’s time for the now traditional rant about that yellow and blue Brazil style kit. It was an absolute fucking abomination. It was a cheap crap Ellis cash in when we’d just got through to our first FA Cup Qtr final in over a decade and we had to wear that hideous piece of shit in the game at Anfield. What should have been remembered as a valiant if somewhat fruitless attempt to break our Qtr final
Hoodoo is now remembered for that absolute travesty of a kit. If it was up to me I’d buy them all, put them in a pile in the Holte End car park, douse them in petrol and burn them to a crisp, every single last fucking one of them. A shoddy, cheap, classless, tacky pile of crap that is a stain on the history of the club. The only good thing about it is the club only wore it I think 3 times in competitive fixtures and it was quickly shelved along with other shit early 90s marketing ideas like Gary Penrice. Fucking hell I hated it, absolute bollocks.

I liked it, and still have it somewhere :)
