Played really well. Wesley is a worry.

Wes will score today. He just needs to believe because those crosses are there for the taking. The other thing to consider is that he is pulling the Burnley CB’s apart opening up space for our midfielders to get into.

I'm not sure which east Asian language the commentary is in but I'm really enjoying the way they say El Ghazi.

Impressive half, but need a second. Burnley will improve. McGinn superb.

Cynical foul on Jack on the edge of the area, free kick given but no yellow card.

Would have been a red for Barnes, got nowhere near the ball. We finished strong there. Playing with 10 men with Wes I'm afraid. Davis cannot be any worse.

Positives: McGinn outstanding, Nakamba very good, both full backs offering width and quality on ball, Engels assured. Hourihanes quality on ball is creating chances too.

I think we have tended to 'overplay' when we have got into the final third.

Wesley's play acting gets right on my tits.

Was willing to give him a break. You can forgive the lack of goals if the effort is there, but he really is fecking useless isn't he! Not a glimmer of him making it in this league so far.

Our most expensive ever signing needs to buck his ideas up a bit.

I think he still lacks confidence. The face-holding needs to stop.

I have a feeling he will too. The deliveries from our fullbacks have been superb, he's going to nick one like Anwar did.

No disrespect to Taylor or Elmo (neither have been bad at all) but having two fullbacks with a genuine attacking threat (and some pace) doesn’t half make a difference.

Very confident first half. Burnley are no pushovers as their results show. We've made them look very ordinary so far.

We’ve been by far the better team , but for var bollocks we’d be 2 up . Can’t believe the negative stuff about Jack , he’s been fine , and I don’t think Wes is anywhere near as bad as this thread makes out . Hope he fucking buries one .

I can see why we signed Wes - he looks like he has nearly everything. Hopefully it clicks soon.
