I was invited in there first game of the season.
Empty, lifeless and expensive is the best way to describe it.

The Witton Lane is desperate for another bar as the service and space is shocking.

I’d happily pay extra for this.
They need to flatten it and replace it with a bigger and better version. The cramped space and piss poor facilities smack of the guy they renamed it after.

I think they are restricted to an extent with the road as there isn’t much space to extend backwards. So other than making it very steep it’s tough. That being said the boxes in their probably take up a lot of room and then revenue from their far exceeds what they would get from better concourse facilities.

Can the top tier not be built over the road.

Not without taking out the gardens and impinging on the road behind.

New bar opening within the Doug Ellis stand and I have had an invite to go in it tomorrow.  Anybody else going?  What do we know about it?

How did you get the invite??

I had an e-mail from them a week or so again asking to register interest. Had another e-mail yesterday to say I'm invited for the game tomorrow. Think its another season ticket holder only place.

Ah yes I did the same. Obviously didn’t make the cut!!
Me neither ! But as my tickets are in the Upper Trinity not sure how this would have worked for me anyway.

My season ticket is North Stand upper so that doesn’t matter. Thought it was ok tbf, very empty though so many fans who were invited obviously didn’t turn up. Prices the same as anywhere else in the ground and loads of tvs showing the WBA and Liverpool games.
