We go again. A game and a competition we should absolutely be looking to win. I don't want to see too many changes, but I imagine there will. However some players like Wesley need to play to maintain scoring momentum. He was dropped for Crewe just after scoring against Everton and didn't score again until yesterday.

I'll go for 2-1 to us

STEER
ELMO
TARGETT
KONSA
HAUSE
HOURIHANE
LUIZ
MARVELOUS
TREZEGUET
LANSBURY
WESLEY

Wouldn’t it be nice for Smith to try something other than 4 3 3.

I put up some wallpaper the other day that looked great in the shop, but when I got it on the living room wall, it really didn't work with the curtains.  Had no choice but to knock all the walls down and start again.  ::)

Haha. I know mate. It's been a long day after yesterday. But I do think we will beat Brighton.

Was excitement, not disbelief!  I think we can beat them too, and I am looking forward to the seaside!

You'd think after starting so many of these that TV would know to add a poll, but no, I have to do it for the lazy bugger.

As well as needing a shake up , this time there must be a genuine desire by players and nod from the gaffer to let them know that they CAN play themselves into Saturdays starting 11.

Next saturdays starting 11 should see a centre back dropped, a central midfielder dropped and start Keinan , they’re the best options we’ve got

Why would you drop Wesley?

It’s not like he’s been wasting clear cut chances all the time and he’s now at one goal in three Prem games, which is about average for a Prem striker ( 12 / 13 goals a season ).

He’s shown if we play the ball to him properly, he’ll convert.

Wesley can be rested for this one. Along with Jack, he's one of two players we absolutely can't risk getting injured. Assuming Targett, Chester and Kodjia still not fit I'd expect something like...

Steer

Elmo (c)
Konsa
Engels
Hause

Jota
Hourihane
Luiz
Lansbury
El Ghazi

Davis

I think we might have more strength in depth than Brighton. I expect them to rest most of their team and hope our backups can beat theirs.
