Might have to switch to a bottled beverage at VP...the Purity Villa Ale was minging and the Amstel tasted of pipe cleaner.

Always find issue with Draught Lager in many places in UK,either pipe cleaner or stale off taste. Taken many a pint back and get a look of disgust!!!! you'd be shut down if you served that s**** in Iceland (my second home)

I had a bottle of the Villa Pale yesterday and really enjoyed it, the pies seem to have changed though more pastry and less filling

I thought the Purity was fine (upper Holte).  It's on keg so the quality should be consistent.

I was just amazed that there are still so few taps and staff.  It's almost like they dont want to make money selling beer.

Just went to buy one*. Told the missus. Not allowed, because a letter has already been sent to Father Christmas, and apparently I'm "f***ing impossible to buy for". So now I know what I'm getting, I'll have to pretend to be surprised and grateful, and not be pissed off at having had to wait nearly four weeks for it.
