With the ‘marvellous’, magical, incredible summer we have had on the transfer front, with probably a goalie and striker still to come, then we must be offloading some of the players who are not upto it?

Who could be on the way out if the right offers came in?

Kalinic yes if we get a new keeper. BB maybe but he’s played well in pre season. Lansbury no - Dean really likes him. Green maybe on loan but I doubt it. Jimmy no. Hogan yes. Taylor no.

Bree, KD and RHM will go out on loan I reckon.

He signed a new contract a few weeks ago.

Bree, Chester, BB, Lansbury, Hogan are all surplus to requirements with the new signings. Tshibola can be safely added to that list.

Kalinic and Kodjia will go if we get a replacement keeper and striker in as expected. I'd be happier giving Davis or RHM a chance over Kodjia whose legs are gone. I think we have enough cover at left back to let Taylor go too.

Davis, RHM, JDH, O'Hare, Green will all struggle to get chances with the new signings so would expect them to go on loan again.

Hourihane has got better under Smith, and is always dangerous from set pieces. I think he will have a part to play, even if mainly restricted to appearances off the bench.

Yes in fairness, RHM and JDH didn't pull up any trees in League 2 and I can't see them featuring. If we're able to consolidate in the Prem, then I'm not sure they are of the required standard, and going on loan may not be much use to either club or player. Davis and O'Hare may have something to offer in future so a loan may be ok. I can't see Green playing too much either unless we hit the rocks.

Our first choice central three will be Luiz-McGinn-Grealish and then as back up we have Marvellous for DM, Hourihane for either DM or box to box and can see Jota playing as the 10 if Jack is out for a spell although he's doing a good job floating in from the right currently.

Would still expect us to move Bjarni on. Think Lansbury will be given until January to try to become regular part of the 18, if not he'll probably go then as his contract will nearly be up.
