Woeful player. Really don’t know what any one can see if him because he’s struggling to be a footballer of any outstanding qualities. A complete liability of the pitch most of the time, and one of the reasons why our midfield is so piss poor and defence concedes so many shots.

Played really well when he first came in, and every so often shows he can play well. Like El Ghazi and Luiz he has shown fleeting glimpses of talent.

Trez, Wesley, Drinkwater and Target are the players I see no redeeming qualities or potential in.

I think he's been OK, I just think we need the right partner along side him. Breaks play up, makes mostly simple passes to the nearest bloke. Better at it than NRC ever was, not quite as good as Gueye was, but certainly better than Carlos bloody Sanchez

Carlos Sanchez is the worst player I've ever seen play for us. And I saw...no, I can't think of one who was so bad that they ought to be included in such company.

I was actually going to say that he reminds me of Carlos Sanchez...very similar in so far as he looks completely lost out there on the pitch, completely out of his depth, and not sure what he’s supposed to be doing or where he’s supposed to be.

He often gets overrun in tight possession and looks somewhat bewildered when he gets his head up and time on the ball. I really can’t decide if I think he’ll come good or not.

Confidence looks shot, trying to play a role he is not suited/ good enough.
Weak on the ball.
Another hologram.

Like Luiz, given a full close-season, I think he'll come good.

They may well both come good, but I'm yet to be convinced that will be in the same starting 11.

He’s not that bad. He is massively inconsistent like a lot of our players and, like pretty much all of our midfield currently, he is some strengths but also some glaring weaknesses in his game.

Playing for a bottom third Premier League team is probably his level though.

He was awful, but I think you'd have to go a long way to beat Tonev.  Almost as far as you'd have to go to retrieve one of his shots.

Sanchez played a 50 yd cross field pass in his first game that made me think we'd got a really good player. Ah well.

I think a lot of our players just need to play with some good steady players. Unfortunately, we don't have that yet. It's very reminiscent of Gueye etc coming in.

His very first touch, I think, Sanchez' mega ball.

Thought Nakamba was brilliant tonight. Did all the dull things well, dropped back in when needed, covered for Mings when he pushed forward. Up there for man of the match.

Really good tonight, did all the simple things well and let Luiz get forward. V pleasing.

Played well tonight, in a team with ball players like Jack, Barkley, Luiz etc, all he needs to do is win the ball and keep it simple.
