Poor Marv is currently getting a raw deal on H&V.

Look back to page 62 (and thereabouts) on this thread and he was our saviour until he got knobbled.

He has obviously now fully recovered and I would think twice before letting him go. Could be a very good squad player, especially if we make europe

Gerrard I think use to get frustrated with him as would I.  Probably knocked his confidence like SG did with other players.
Yes to be fair even though a limited footballer Emery coaching him effectively would improve his game immeasurably
Good Luck to Marv whatever happens though for me I don't see a place in the squad for him.
However as you say he could be effective in European conference level games in the group stages so maybe he might be considered after all

... nobody would fancy him to score a penalty I hope for his sake he doesn't take one

His penalty yesterday was excellent.

Nakamba is a great person really decent guy but nobody would fancy him to score a penalty I hope for his sake he doesn't take one
I thought he would miss against Chelsea in the league Cup shoot out and I think he would again today in the play off final

His penalty yesterday was exceellent.

He's a very poor shooter of a footballer but that's not his strength as he's great at tackling and combat however if he scores it would be indeed marvellous!
Good Luck to him. He has God on his side and hope his prayers will be answered.

God is always the answer.

Haha.  Ash had the same reaction as most of us. Horror giving way to joy.
