A half to forget. It's hopefully all about fitness.
Feel sorry for Wesley, he may as well not have been there.
El Ghazi was but he's my biggest fear, complete Tim Sherwood. A good day at Wembley and nothing more.
Jota looked busy but final ball looked lazy.
Only Hourihane looked like he knew what he was doing and was sharp.

Expecting a much better second half.

A half to forget? We toyed with them for almost all of it. If we moved out of third gear and been a little more decisive we’d have scored 4. They look tired and it’s boiling here. Nobody here thought it was poor. More that we looked less than sharp which is completely to be expected this early on in pre season and against a side in mid season.

Going to be plenty of changes for the second-half. Here’s how Villa will line up after the break:
Kalinic, Guilbert, Chester, Mings, Taylor, McGinn, Lansbury, Bjarnason, Davis, Green, Hogan.

I appreciate the heat and it's just a fitness game. We toyed in our own half but going forward we looked confused. Expect 3 Villa goals in the 2nd half. Enjoy!

Is that our goalkeeping kit for the next year? It’s dire if it is!

On paper it’s a weaker team this half with quite a few players that need to prove they are good enough for the season ahead (BB, Lansbury, Hogan, Davis, Green). Interested to see how Kalinic, Chester and Guilbert get on.

There was a comment by the Minnesota owner about how big and fleet-footed the Villa players are. He’s not wrong.

Mings looks like the biggest man I’ve ever seen on this stream.

Think BB and Angela not stepping up enough yet.
