Jacked booked. More importantly daft to make a challenge like that in pre season

Normally I'd agree with you but it was a lovely challenge in which he won the ball perfectly cleanly. Shrewsbury #10 made a meal of it.

Just because it's a friendly doesn't mean it can't be competitive.

I don’t want him getting injured in a meaningless game. I appreciate he won the ball and his competitiveness but I didn’t think he needed to go that hard in this game. Versus Spurs no problem.

We’re settling down now. It’s taken a while last we saw many times last season. We will need to settle down a lot faster in the PL.

Guilbert looks good. Delighted by that. Hopefully he can do the job against PL attackers.

Starting to look a class above now which you'd expect as Sloppies nearly got relegated from league 1.

Gulibert making some good forward runs, Jota playing nicely off the right aswell.

I think you could tell from Jack's reaction that he knew it was a yellow.

Can you explain why? He won the ball first time, and it didn't look like his foot was over the ball to me either. He caught the player after.
Winning the ball doesn't mean a foul can't be given.

Jota with another dribble into box, Davis spins and shoots, Max O'Leary with those pesky saves again, tips it over the bar,

Keinan actually looking really good today. That’s why I think he needs a season long loan to build his confidence
