I'd like a nice easy home match. Burnley.

There are no easy games in this league....

It's a game if two halves etc etc

Just want an away game first weekend. Anywhere.

Because I'm in Birmingham the following weekend.

Oh, for the days when there was always a fuss about not being able to publish the fixtures, and we'd get them, and it was proof that Doug had paid us off.

If we have Spurs away first game then I will owe my nephew a humble apology.

You must still counting your money from all those pay offs Dave?!!

Was that in the days halcyon days of Malcom & Robbo etc?  Fun times.

Fixtures come out and then then  Sky / BT rip them apart for TV timings.

They were indeed. You don't get made-up opening days a week before, either.

I've seen that "leaked" list, pretty sure TV games aren't decided until early July so that one I doubt is correct.

I'm at Bloodstock festival on the Sunday so would rather us be away if our first game gets switched to a Sunday.

Norwich aside, I don't think it would take a soothsayer to predict that Liverpool, Chelsea and (I assume) Man Utd would have been the television choices.
