Preseason 2019:2020
« on: May 28, 2019, 02:27:16 PM »
So who’s coming out to Minnesota United (managed by Villa legend Adrian Heath) to watch our heroes? My ticket is secured along with a number of the Chicago Villains. There are tickets still available for the game on July 17th. It will be a party.

I think I can stretch to the Tamworth game.

I should be flying over to New York and surrounding areas in July so very tempted. Is Minnesota our only game or will there be more fixtures lined up?

Not heard anything at the moment. It’s possible they could add to this and being a PL club again makes us all the more attractive now, especially with an American co-owner. Interesting to see how our pre-season now maps out as the club try to capitalize on this commercially.

Hurrah, might be able to make the game at Charlton, will wait for the league fixtures before deciding.

Fuck me, that's an uninspiring list!

Were these agreed whilst we were still a second rate side?

Shrewsbury was a pleasant day out last time we played there although the ground is a bit of a trek from the town centre.

What's the problem? They're only friendlies.

There's not a lot on the new grounds front and the only one we're not regulars at is being played on main  holiday Saturday. Yippee.

Boring as fuck friendlies. Won't be attending any. All I want is one new ground on a Saturday, is that too much to ask?

Yep a bit uninspiring, I've not been to the annual Walsall friendly since about 2005 as I just got fed up with it, I may go to Shrewsbury again though (we played there 2 years ago).  I was hoping to play at a midland side we've never played like Cheltenham or even Forest Green, I've actually never been to Port Vale either.

We could have an easy to get to European game yet. Dream of Dublin, Amsterdam or Hamburg for example.
