Really like listening to Liam Rosenior on Sky (unlike that Irish ex-doghead next to him!). Very knowledgeable and articulate.... and he fucking loves the Villa! ;)

Alarms me a bit many of our attackers have all lost form at the same time. Tammy had his poorest game for us tonight, shoulder injury seems to have knocked him a bit.

Couldn't get the ball to Jack at all and Green will struggle to make the bench for Wembley, occasion was far too much for him. El Ghazi was good although he'll need to watch Leeds winding him up in the final.

Last season Grabban, Snodgrass and Adomah all lost form in the last few weeks and were non factors in the final. Jack played his heart out but was nowhere near enough so that's my concern going forward.

That helps ease the stress. It doesn’t matter. See you at Wembley lads & lasses.

Over the 2 legs. It would certainly have been undeserved if one of those 2 was going to Wembley.

Possession 71% v 29%
Shots 45 v 15
On target 12 v 5
Corners 25 v 8
Fouls 13 v 24

My head absolutely pounds!

Very tight game. Only opened up for 10 minutes second half when we decided to play them in 4 or 5 times. They'd have never have created anything otherwise, the sub-Pulis shite.

Trying to get beyond them was very difficult. Just too slow with moving the ball when it we had to capitalise on the occasions we got behind their midfield.

Attack and defence before the sending off and then even more ridiculous after. Adomah should have scored and so should Tammy.

Very unusual feeling with the penalties. Huge saves by Steer! Tool the edge off till Albert skied it.

Fucking brilliant celebrations after!

Tammy was poor for me, I'd have taken him off. Such a bad goal to concede, but it was a foul on Mings before the throw in.

We were nowhere near our best over the 2 games, but we were stil head and shoulders above the shite they served up. If they'd progressed with their tactics it would have been an absolute disgrace.

That was pretty turgid, but we've played against tactics tonight that we're unlikely to face again in a league game until we're dominating the premier league like Man City. Every man behind the ball in and around the box, at home, when a goal puts you at Wembley? Fucking Blues.

They were at home, needed to score, and STILL parked the bus. If we are disappointed with how we played, can you IMAGINE how they must be feeling after watching that negative shite?

They were good defensively, but it's easy to be good at that when you show zero ambition at going up the other end.  It was basically an attack v defence training exercise. Disappointed we didn't score, but Johnstone doesn't make that incredible save and the scoreline looks very different. Fine margins and all that...

I've got to go to work in 5 hours and can't sleep a wink - perfect response from McGinn, "we always make it difficult"

Let it be known I asked my wife if we could name our firstborn Jed.

She refused.

Worth a shot.

My son is Aston-Lee. Long story.

I’m not giving Albion credit for the way they play
I thought we were very poor tonight and should have strolled it with the advantage we had but played rubbish

but I’m not going to argue, I thought we got lucky tonight because we tried to beat ourselves at times but I’m delighted we got through and will play a side who want to play more football at Wembley so should help us

Over the 2 legs which of the 2 sides deserves to be going to Wembley?

It's amazing with stats like that how we managed to look so inept at times.  At the beginning of the second half we looked liked we'd totally gone to pieces.  It reminded me of that game against Swansea when Laudrup was there and we could literally have been 4-0 down in the first 10 minutes.

Fuck me with the rough end of a ragman's trumpet but we made hard work of that. Play like that in the final and we are doomed to yet another season in the Championshit :(

We played better v Boro last year. No stage in those two games did I think we were going out so little different to tonight which turned into lottery game.

Shame last year SB was clueless in thinking we could beat Fulham the same way we did to Boro which was very naive tactic.

At least we have a few ways of playing and will need that v a likely opponent in Leeds. It's going to need all our attacking players to actually turn up for Wembley final which dosen't usually happen.
