Embarrassingly devoid of quality.

This is just horribly laboured.  If we can't score one goal against this 10 man team in 40 minutes we won't deserve to go through.

When was our last penalty shootout and how did it go?

Bolton. We won

If you mean the cup semi final that was 2000 so nearly 20 years ago. We won at Sunderland in 2009.

Taylor has been shit. I've never seen a more plodding full back.

He's got to bring the big goalie on for the pens.

If this goes to penalties, we’re fucked. They have our old keeper between the sticks who will have spent a season facing our boys in training - Hope I’m wrong, but have a feeling it’s written for Johnson to be the hero.

Pull them to the wing, create space then switch it quickly to exploit the space...why aren't we doing that?!

Too slow, ponderous and still very little to show for all our possession.

Please don't let this go to penalties.

As soon as it goes to penalties I'm switching off.

Penalty shoot out... we all know the headline with Sam... 😑

I couldn't help thinking that myself. I have aged about ten years in the last couple of hours watching this game.
