BB awful today. Lansbury good. Green/Adomah not so good. Need AEG back. Good job his red was rescinded. Good to see Hutton on the pitch and he played his usual game but his time at the club is almost up. A remarkable run him considering how average he is.
You're Footyskillz aren't you?

No. If I was Footyskillz it would say Footyskillz instead of XXVilla. And what’s your point anyway..?

Er yeah ok. You could always just answer the question.

The game meant little and it showed both on the field and in the stands.

The positives were that the deserved league winners found it hard to break down and beat a much changed Villa team.

The negatives were that we looked very ordinary, pedestrian through centre midfield and laboured in the wide areas. Of the players given a chance I thought only Hause gave the manager something to ponder.

Of we don’t go up that looked a side we are likely to field, but it lacks zip.

Terrible second goal to concede, no pressure on the ball at all. Well done to Norwich, I didn’t think they’d last the distance and didn’t think they were as good down here as Leeds, Sheffield or Forest but they get the spoils.

MOM Whelan.

I have never witnessed a team being presented with a trophy at an away ground like that before. Would that happen at the Sty? Give them their moment in the sun before the struggles start.

It always happens. Burnley got given it on the pitch at Charlton a few years back when Charlton fans were trying to invade pitch and protest at the owner. If Man City win the league at Brighton on final day they'll lift the trophy there.

If you didn't want to see it just leave on the final whistle, seems pretty straight forward to me.

Fantastic for such an up and down season, which will hopefully end really well.

There’s been a few comments like that but I’m going to have to disagree. Dean and the management team will have plans in place for this scenario, and I would expect a lot of outgoing and incoming players in the summer. I very much doubt the team will look anything like the team that was out there today. Anyways, let’s worry about that another day...we have the playoffs to win! :)

Of today's squad, Steer, Hutton, Whelan, Green, Jedinak and Elphick are out of contract in June. There'll be wholesale changes whichever division we're in.

Could easily have won that game.

A few pleasant things. The Norwich fans joining in with the HEITS thing. Our fans clapping their team when they came off. Us giving them a guard of honour.

Nice to see some pleasantry in the world.

I'm glad they, and we did that.

What’s the HEITS thing?

Also, as they only won the league today, and today is the last game of the season, the options are quite limited as to when they could do it.

I think it's great that they felt that they could do it without our fans spoiling it. Shows the difference between us and halfwits like the Blues or Leeds.

I agree.  We’ve had a lot of unfair stick this week.  This showed the true class of our football club.  Farke described our stadium in glowing terms as well.
