I want us to bring back players who should never have left..... Daniel Sturridge (he is on a free) Gary Cahill (he is on a free) Marc Albrighton (£5m?) and Barry Bannan (£6m?) Enda Stevens (£4m?) plus add in Nick Powell (villa fan and on a free) Joe Lolley (villa fan £12m?)

The problem;

1) Is it wrong to live in the past?
2) Plus the last time we got in villa fans it did not end well (Joleon Lescott, Zatyiah Knight)

But I would also like to keep a few that we have at the moment.

I think we could see Joe Lolley in a Villa shirt next season regardless of the division we end up in. I think Dean will be in the market for young and hungry players who will naturally adapt to his preferred style of play.

Lolley looks like a less good version of Grealish, so not sure he's what we need.  We need an all-action midfield anchor to go alongside SJM and Jack, so if we're talking about ex-Villa players then I reckon Gueye would look very good alongside those two, but given Everton were turning down bids from PSG I'd rate that as very unlikely.
