And that's why it is such an achievement Chico.
Previously I wasn't a huge TW fan, but he's overcome a lot and is now competing against 'athletes' like Brooks, DJ and Rory. To win another major 15 years after his last is phenomenal.
Sky this morning were a bit sycophantic mind.

2nd Major of the year starts today, US PGA has been moved from August to May. Looking at the betting, Johnson and Koepka both 10 - 1, Rory and Tiger 12, Rahm 16, Fowler 18, Rose 20. Played at Bethpage, New York.

Can Tiger do it again? Unlikely he has not played since his Masters win and whereas he fairly regularly strayed off the fairway at Augusta and got away with it, on this course he will almost certainly be punished. Having said that you can't rule him out.

Going for Koepka to win.

Going for Koepka to win.

Seems like a good pick, so far.

Started getting exciting, when Koepka had a meltdown and his lead was cut to 2, then Johnson had a meltdown. Great effort from Matt Wallace, finishing joint 3rd, looks a good prospect.

US Open starts today at Pebble Beach. Rory was back to his best last week, winning the tournament with a 61 on the last day. Hopefully he hasn't peaked too soon. Woods also had a good tournament a couple of weeks and can't be ruled out, other favourites Johnson, Koepka and Spieth, and Cantlay a good outside bet.

Looking forward to tonight, with Rose just 1 off the lead, Koepka and Rory also in contention. Finishing in the early hours, so hope I can keep awake, 10 pm is a late night for me these days.  :)

Fairly comfortable for Woodland in the end.  Rose just didn’t play well today at all.

Yes Rose was a big disappointment, faded badly on the back 9. Well done Gary Woodland, didn't buckle under the pressure from Koepka and finished superbly, with a great chip on the 17th to save his par and a downhill birdie putt on the last.

Still irks me to this day that people talk of Woods' win as the greatest ever sporting comeback, even the stupid orange twat has said same.

What utter bollocks.

Racing again 40 days later.

Tiger Woods can fuck off.

Rose didn't play well all week to be honest. His putting was insanely good for the first three days and masked his poor ball striking. His putting faltered on Sunday.

Agree.  He was a club length short on almost every par 4/5.  Either needs to fire his caddy or realise he can’t hit as far as he used to!

The Open returns to Northern Ireland for the first time for 68 years, when it was won by Englishman, Max Faulkner and before you ask, no I don't remember it!

Betting McIlroy 8/1, Koepka 11, Rahm 14, Johnston 18, Woods 20, Rose 22, Cantlay 28.

Not as bad as David Duval.  Took 8 at the par 4 5th, and then 13 at the par 5 7th.  Currently 13 over after 10.

Finished with a 90, 19 over, why does he bother turning up, he's place could have gone to a promising young golfer.
