We've simply been out muscled across the entire pitch. You've got to match them for workrate & we haven't. They are absolute shite. Ref is a c*** though.

Not sure the ref has been that bad. He gave us a pen. Their own pen was definite handball. Self inflicted mess

Not sure how we turn this around. They're bang up for this, we're not.

I'm still really annoyed at Mings. He's been superb for us, but to do that, and on a yellow was just ridiculous. Then he's all smiles walking off.

..and now we're back to having Jedinak at CB. And for Saturday too.

He overplayed for his first booking as well. He has got that reckless streak about him

His first yellow was Richards esque. Pissing about skinning players in their half. He had to take a yellow to get himself out of the shit. Let his team down today.

We have a whole half to fix this albeit with one less player. The tragedy is a point will now seem like a win.

Whelan for Hourihane to give us a bit of stability. We need to get our big players involved more. There's a reason these are in the bottom three, they're not very good and get beaten a lot.

Yep. Said it before kick off - this isn't the game for Hourihane in a defensive midfield role.  I wouldn't be waiting too long before subbing him for Whelan.  We're not making the ball stick at all up front and Abraham's penalty really sums up the performance.

Can you appeal a second yellow?

I’m a massive fan of Mings but he’s properly let us and himself down today , and more importantly for Saturday.

Well that was really poor but that ref is a fuckin joke for sending off Mings. It wasn’t a pen or a second yellow and he could cost us the game.
Let’s hope we can appeal.

You can't appeal a yellow card I'm afraid.

Very poor first half, too slow to move the ball, and now down to 10-men I think a draw would now be a very good result. I don't think I've seen a worse penalty than Tammy's all season. It could all have been so different if he tucks that away...

I think the only hope is that they tire badly and give us a chance in the last 20, but we'll need to be much smarter in possession for that to happen.  Will be interesting to see how Rotherham start the 2nd half, will they carry on 'as is', or will they shut up shop given this is a massive 3 points for them? I guess our next sub will depend on which of those it is.

I can't see us going 45 minutes without creating a couple of chances, so let's just hope we take them.

When the wheels come off, we look so spectacularly poor.  A neutral observer would put Rotherham 6th and Villa in the bottom three.  When we are crap, we only have three players, Jack, SJM and Abraham.  The rest seem to hide away somewhere.  Yes, we will still be in the play off positions come what may tonight, but we have to sharpen our attitude against the bad as well as the good.  Way off the pace this evening so far.

Sounds like the ref is (yet another) shocker - WM saying it's all about the Andrew Madley show. I thought he was a PL ref but that's his brother apparently

WM saying they've seen replays and it wasn't handball. I've only seen the clip I posted so hard to know.

Would say chill, we have won our last six which has put us in a fantastic position after the dark days of January and February.

Yes it's a match I expected to win but Rotherham are decent at home. Defeat would make the run in more tricky but it won't be the end of the world.

He's a c**t. Walking off at half time doing that fake over-chewing 'hard-man' thing to show how much he doesn't care what people think. With his linesman grinning like a twat. Absolutely appalling first half display.
