well we have done much better defensively without Hutton .

Chester would be a bonus especially around the play offs and with Axel we do process a very good squad.

That ‘article’ should form the basis of the pre match team talk.

Indeed

Agree.  Chester did have a tough few months before he was rested, but I still think he is one of the best defenders in the league and that a partnership of him and Mings could be very good.

I've got a feeling it's going to end up a draw tomorrow, but I'm going 2-3 to us in a repeat of Big Ron's first game in charge. We are certainly good enough to turn them over.

Winning 5 on the bounce in any division is no mean feat. 6 is exceptional.

UTV!

Anything less than a win is poor for me. I think hes benefited hugely from fixtures.

9 out of 11 against 13th or below and then two draws against top half opposition.

They were outplayed by Stoke. Let's fucking drill these ******.

Amen to that.

Problem is they will put out a completely different team tomorrow as they have lots of injured players back. They'll want to have a go and apparently PH has them pressing well. After a shit start to their season, they're only 4 points below us. First goal will be massive tomorrow though we always have the threat of coming back from a goal down. My guess it both teams will just go for it so it could be a high scoring game. It's going to be a tough one but if we play to our potential we should have too much for them. Hopefully Grealish doesn't decide to play too deep again. By his standards he was quiet last week and Tammy needs to bury every chance he gets. Tall order, I know.

The deciding factor is us not having Bruce in the dugout. Reading Sheff Weds fans comments on Bruce reminds me of Sunderland fans when Pubehead went up there. And we all know how that ended. Not sure if anybody else saw the video of the lads in training this week but bloody hell, the speed, movement and technique has gone up a level or two. There was a similar video last week and what was beautiful to see was that's how we played (especially first half) against Blackburn.

2-3 Villa win. (Albert, Jack and Hause)

You mean Fletcher will start and Forestieri will either drop out or replace Boyd.

Let them come out and attack us. Let the come and open up space, we'll have the majority of the ball and dominate territory, so if they want to open up space too, then brilliant.

Think this next week is massive.  9 points from the three games during that time could well see a gap opening up with the teams just outside the play offs.

There's a possibility Aarons could also return. He's a fast, tricky winger. If fit, I imagine Bruce will bring him in instead of Forestieri, at right back.

I've gone for a draw but I'm hoping Villa prove me wrong and take all 3 points.

Bruce isn't going to play Reach, Forestieri/Aarons, Hooper and Fletcher, leaving a slow and pedestrian midfield two of Bannan and Hutchinson.

He's not got the bottle and he's probably wise not too, so it will be Boyd and likely a 433 mesh of sorts to match us up.

Either way, I dont care. It's about what we do. Our intensity of moving the ball and hunting for the ball is key.

The good thing is that Stevie boy won’t really know how to counteract the way we play now. He had no fucking idea that the team was capable of performing like we do so it must be an absolutely massive shock to him.

Or.

He spent so fucking long stifling the way we can play he’’s an absolute shoe in to do it again.

I fully expect us to dominate possession again, so if we're clinical and finish our chances then we will win tomorrow. It's as simple as that really.

We need Grealish on the front foot as much possible.  When he's firing on all cylinders, he creates acres of space for the likes of Tammy and McGinn.  But likewise, when he's playing in his own half, it invites the other team on to us too much, as in the second half v Blackburn.
