TBAR.
Great forum, the halcyon days of the god-like 'Admin' were a thing to behold.
They were a bunch of nutters with their stalking of Randy at that restaurant.

And for anyone sad enough to be interested, Porto picked up on it. And after the below video so did clubs in Germany. And eventually Liverpool.

God, I wish we sung it like that! Far better than the scouse version

Nah, the acoustics of that station helped them a lot there.

Vindaloo
A team of John Carews
Carew is on fire

Not going to dispute it, bud, but, have to say I don't remember singing or hearing any of them.

I do remember there were a couple of different versions of 'Bigger than me and you'  (lap dance being one)

I always liked Carew is on fire best.

I got the premise of the forum but the admin was an absolute screamer. Utter embarrasment of a reveal if i recall.

Is it still going? Last I heard it was like a morgue in there.

Stan Collymore on Twitter (I know) is bemoaning a song we sing about Tammy with racial undertones. I do not have the first clue what song this is. Has anybody heard it? Is it as bad as it’s being made out?

I've only ever known, heard and sang the "Ooooh Tammy, Tammy" one.

It’s not as bad as is being made out, but it definitely jars more than a little.

Yes, and the first time I heard this song used as a football chant was when WBA fans sung it about Cyril Regis when BFR was their manager. Funny old game.

My memory is so bad I have put the words of our Albion song into my phone.

In the run up to our most recent winning of the FA Cup the Meaning Evil tried to jump on the glory bandwagon.  They punted a Villa song to the tune of "Tipperary".  The pathetic effort attempted to list past victories resulting in the mangling of lines like

It's a long way to go to Wembley
It's a long way to go
Goodbye Bristol City
Farewell Middlesbro'

I clearly recall thousands of Meaning Evil songsheets dumped in the gutters of Trinity Rd.

I don’t know what song you have heard but it sounds exactly like Black Betty. That is the main defence for it really - it scans really well!

Tbf - the word ‘black’ in this chant is in no way being used as an insult, and the clear intent of the people involved was to try and create an original chant for a player they love, but it’s just uncomfortable, weird, and one for the bin.
