All I wanted from the time Smith took over was to finish in the play offs. I don't really care who we play, as we've shown on our day we're at least as good as them all, and we have the added advantage of coming into the last few games in form.

2 wins and we are done, we can put this to bed before Leeds and Norwich.

Stripey in the pub last night reckons we'd comfortably see them off at the moment.

There was also a Villa fan who for some reason reckoned an us-them final would have overtones akin to the '84 League Cup Final. I disagreed.

You can get a 10% discount code for Travelodge in May. Just saying.

Is their cancellation* policy as handy as Booking.com's, though?

*not that you'll actually need it, obviously.

You have to pay a bit more to be able to cancel. It's about £5 a night.

All i fear now is a stroke of bad luck. I think that's the only thing that could stop us.

You mean worse than being simultaneously without 4 centre-halves, Grealish and Kodjia, that bad?

Yesterday, we became an unstoppable force. There is now only one outcome.

Just read elsewhere that Billy Sharp hamstring went.

If true you'd think he's out not just for regular season but play offs aswell.

Hogan would be ineligible against us so Sheffield would be struggling for strikers if they played us in play offs.
They’ve still got Madine and McGoldrick.

Don't rate Madine or Connor Washington, McGoldrick is alright but more of a link up striker than finisher.

Sheffield without Billy Sharp tapping them in would be toothless in play offs.

Ha well a mass brawl on in the Norwich game and Grealish, Mings and McGinn all seeing straight reds would probably top that....

On the 38th anniversary of this legendary quote, it seemed rather appropriate to update it.

When you put it like that it shows just how much better our squad is than everyone else and brings in to sharp focus just what a horlicks Bruce made of things!

There's no question at all in my mind that we're in the Play-Offs.

I think the only team I fear is Sheffield United as they've been pretty damn good against us for all but 10 minutes this season. The last 10 though which is handy... I'm also a little nervous as I'm surrounded by them.
