Wednesday will beat Brizzle. And the Noses will beat Derby.

With everyone else dropping points and the games other contenders have, just 6 more points is probably enough for 6th. I prefer it if we chase down Sandwell and go undefeated to the playoffs for 13 (if I have counted correctly), that puts a serious marker down and keeps the good vibe going!

If Sandwell don’t beat Preston I think they might choke.
We can do that hilarious ‘“ mind the gap”
Guffaws at the prospect

The bitters have become the jitters and will become the shitters as we get closer to them and pass them by in the table.

Tonights performance is similar to those I've watched in the past and thought to myself "Villa would never come back with only 10 men on the field".  I'm not sure if anyone can correct me but I can't remember us ever winning a game after going behind with 10 men on the pitch.

This side/squad is something else.  It is better than the Terry, Snoddy, Johnstone team of last season and the bottle shown tonight should not be underestimated.

Not sure on that, been great last six weeks but before that we've badly lacked the resilience the experienced guys gave us last season.

Think back to being battered at Sheffield United and pinching it 1-0 due to Snoddy curler in last minute. Also were 2-1 down at Sheff Weds and turned it into a 4-2 in last 10 minutes.

We had the players and mentality to go up last year but were too one dimensional in our play especially when behind which Fulham brutally exposed in the final.

Want to see how we can match up with Leeds. Even if they go up in 2nd we need to play well at Elland Road. Winning or drawing there would be a very good sign for the play offs I think as they obviously did a number on us at VP.

Love this.

Brilliant. Tammy cracks me up. They all look like they are just loving it.

I think things like this are really important. Does Axel really believe he will make Man U first team or does he think they will buy a £50m defender instead? Same with Tyrone. If we go up, do they think they will make more money or have more success with their parent club?

Looks very much now like Leeds are going up in 2nd.

Would people prefer to drop down to 6th to play a wounded Sheffield United or take our chances v WBA who might have new manager bounce?

I don't care, everyone else is playing for the runner-up money.

Does it? I think it will go to the wire. Sheff Utd aren’t going away

They conceded 95 minute goal to Millwall to only draw 1-1. Leeds go 3 clear if they win.

One game at a time, we aren't there yet but our destiny is in our hands. I know one thing and that is no-one will want to come up against us in the play offs.

Barring a disaster, I think that's us nailed on for a play off spot.  With Brizzle and Derby having to play each other, we've got a bit of breathing space now.

Just read elsewhere that Billy Sharp hamstring went.

If true you'd think he's out not just for regular season but play offs aswell.

Hogan would be ineligible against us so Sheffield would be struggling for strikers if they played us in play offs.

They’ve still got Madine and McGoldrick.

If we keep this up I think we’re in.

We shouldn’t have anything to fear from those below us our only concern should be the Baggies and the Blades and with the form we’re in I think they’d be more worried about us. There’s also the factor that we owe them both from this season.
