It's Bristol City, not Bristol. Maybe i should put this in the Things That Annoy Me thread but it really does annoy me when people call them Bristol.
Wow I bet boro, swans and villa freak you out too then ?
Many apologies from my posts, didn’t think Bristol needed clarification as they’re the only Bristol team in our division. If generalising about football I would have used Bristol City to differentiate to Rovers.
Anyway back to the the thread topic now I’ve apologised

...it really does annoy me when people call them Bristol.

Too right, it's Brizzle.

Anyway, it's nothing compared to national broadcasters referring to United and City like they're the only clubs in the land with that moniker.

whenever I meet someone new and they find out I support the Villa I always ask them who they support and if they ever say City/Yanited then I always ask which one ? and I love the way they look at me as if I should already know who they are referring to...:)

I'm with you Daz...it's all about context, so it's blatantly obvious we're talking about Bristol City so no need for being pedantic.

Imagine being a Bristol City fan in the 1970s singing that you want your manager sacked.

Next to no chance of Boro getting 75. Who the hell do you have them beating Daz?! I can see them losing at Forest, 0-0 v Stoke and also losing at Swansea from a quick glance of what they've got left. Scored 2 goals in their last six games.

Derby got a better chance but 5 of their last 8 are away and they haven't won an away game since December 29th so issues there.

Boro...draw away to swans, win away at Bolton, win at home to hull , win at home to stoke, draw at home to forest, win at home to reading, win away at Rotherham.
I think their fixture difficulty is easier than their form and could still be realistic for 75 pts

Could happen but for example Reading and Rotherham will probably be fighting hard to stay up so don't think six points is a lock from their last two at all.

Boro did actually play well last night and should have won. I wouldn't write them off yet. They still smell though.

I wouldn't, either. Dean Smith said they created plenty of decent chances in the games prior to our recent encounter. Maybe Pulis will change his ways in an act of desperation or Boro will axe him for the same reason.

One down...pretty sure you're Welsh based Daz so hope you enjoyed Swansea getting Pulis a schooling!

Was a really good day for us wasn't it? Derby and Bristol both winning until the last few minutes, Preston's great run seems to have ground to a halt aswell.

Think 3 wins v Rotherham, Bolton and Millwall and point v Bristol City will be enough now. Last two games won't matter apart from not picking up any injuries/suspensions.
